Catching requires Fishing
Who doesn’t like to catch chinook salmon? Ok, so the fish usually isn’t thrilled. Sportfishermen require information for decision in real-time on the water so they can fish effectively, legally, safely and responsibly. Turns out this information is available but not in a very useful form. Fortunately, we can apply principles of information management and use information technology to perform some “every-day innovation” to solve the problem.
Over on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SeaHawkBI), I’ll use something that’s cool (sportfishing) to illustrate something that’s maybe not so cool (e.g. stakeholder needs analysis, innovation, information management). I’ll also provide some tools for recreational fishermen, particularly those fishing for salmon off the coast of British Columbia. Check it out.
